CardArtisans is a group of Card-making enthusiasts who love to laugh while making cards. Our members are mostly AWC Bern members, but we welcome everyone. We all speak English, but you will find German, French and Spanish going on all around. We meet every second Friday of the month. Our main focus is getting as many cards completed between the fun as we can. Sharon, our group leader, is available for assistance to beginners and sometimes even for our more advanced members. We have been known to come up with a creative challenge due the next meeting, demos for the latest crafting techniques and an occasional Special project.
There are no fees for this group. In the beginning we are happy to share, but as time goes on it is advisable to have the following “Tool Kit” of your own.
Scissors, Paper Trimmer, adhesives, pencil/pen, black ink pad and blank cards
We have stamps, ink pads, paper trimmers, punches and a Score tablet for use. Again, free of charge.
Paper-crafting is a tension releasing activity that will also bring joy to others. The fact that you made it with your own two hands means a great deal to the Recipient.
