Strategies to strengthen your personal balance: 3 spotlights on women’s health
Most of us live lives of duty and routine. Too much responsibility and too many demands can lead to stress. Women cope by stretching their strength to the limit—ignoring mental and physical exhaustion and running the risk of burnout or depression. But how can we assess our risks and find a way out when we’re right in the middle of it all?
The AWC Bern welcomes three professionals who will provide three strategies for strengthening our personal balance: Mary Kay Zumbach, neurofeedback therapist; Christian Mehr, inventor of the Bouncolin, and Pascale Sahli-Friederich, owner and manager of the REVITAL Women’s Center in Les Rasses.
Learn more about the power of your mind and body
Neurofeedback and biofeedback trainings are used to reduce the effects of stress, which helps regain inner balance and strength. Mary Kay Zumbach will introduce us to QEEG (quantitative electroencephalography) analysis and will explain how it is used to identify warning signals of burnout and stress in our central nervous system. The combination of QEEG and neurofeedback training can give our mind, body and spirit extra power to master the challenges of daily life.
Get your bounce back!
Bouncolins are a new kind of hyper-elastic mini-trampoline that exposes your body to an intense, rhythmic and harmonious change in the forces of gravity. Learn how to strengthen your bladder control, relax and strengthen your back, minimize lymphatic problems, and enhance your overall ability to relax and bounce off stress. Bouncing will help you produce and release more happiness hormones (endorphins, serotonin, dopamine, cannabinoid). It’s also great fun. Enjoy a practical introduction session with Christian Mehr, the creator of this Swiss innovation. Come dressed to bounce!
Take time to revitalize
Revital—the renowned Swiss women’s oasis in Les Rasses—offers a unique program for women who want to get their bearings, strength, and beauty back. The resort offers a panoramic view from the high plains of the Jura across Lake Neuchatel and Lake Geneva over to the Alps—a splendid setting to relax. Pascale Sahli will give an overview of the therapies, treatments, diet, exercise, discussions, and solitude that help more than 1200 women each year unwind and re-discover their own sources of power, creativity, and calm.
Refreshments
A light snack (Flammkuchen, vegetable platter, and mineral water) will be available before the presentations begin, and is included in your entry fee. Additional beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
